Q&A
- When do you usually get married?
Tradition says that you should do the wedding about a year after the engagement, but of course you do what suits you. Some may choose to be engaged for life without marrying and others only for a few months, while others may marry after a few years. Today, there is simply no right or wrong, you just do what suits you.
- How do I know that the wedding ring fits the engagement ring? How do I know that a wedding ring fits my engagement ring?
There is no right or wrong when it comes to ring combinations. But if you want the rings to fit tightly, we recommend that you review the measurements of the rings. If you have a solitaire ring as an engagement ring and wish to combine it with an alliance ring as a wedding ring, it is important to know the measurements of the solitaire ring. We always recommend our customers to combine rings of the same or similar design.
- What metal should our wedding rings have?
The metal of your wedding ring is an important choice. It determines both future maintenance, quality and appearance. It can also be good to have your engagement ring in mind.
- Do you want the rings to match?
Then choose the same metal for your wedding ring. Of course, the metals do not have to match, but often many prefer a uniform expression. We also get the question: "Do you have to wear the same metal on your rings?" We don't think it's a must. Instead, choose a ring of the metal and shape that suits your personality and style the best.
- Can I design my own wedding ring?
Yes absolutely! I am happy to help custom design, both the engagement and the wedding ring of your dreams. If you have a picture or description of a ring that inspires you, contact us regarding your wishes and we will get back with a quote completely free of charge, contact us here.
- Should men wear two rings?
The most common is that the men only have one ring. The ring is used for both engagements and weddings. However, some men choose to have two rings, a wedding ring and an engagement ring. Having two rings as one is a modern choice. Create a unique combination with or without diamonds to find an expression that matches your style.
- Can I combine two alliance rings?
For a playful look, you can advantageously combine two engagement rings. Let only your imagination set the limits and create a unique combination where your style can take its place and shine.
- What do you engrave in a wedding ring?
I often get the question: "What should you engrave on your wedding ring?" or "What do you engrave on your engagement ring?" And the answer is that there is no right or wrong. Traditionally, many couples engrave the date they got engaged, or the date they got married. Others choose to engrave a place, each other's name, or some word that represents their love.
- How many diamonds does an engagement ring have?
An engagement/alliance (is usually a band with a row of diamonds/gemstones on it) ring is like a plain ring set with diamonds around the ring. There are both full-, half-, three-quarter- and one-third alliance, which describes how many diamonds are set around the ring. The most common model is clearly full and half alliance.

It can be difficult to choose when there are many options. Feel free to contact us for more information.
